House Buying/Selling

OK, I've found 4 properties in rural Lincolnshire that we hope to view this week. Carol likes one in particular, the cheapest one on a 1/3 acre plot!

 

Make that 3 properties...... the one Carol loved has just been sold ;(

But, we have an appointment to view our next best, lovely well kept (award winning) garden (I'll soon change that) but small at only 1/4 acre

Manageable?

 

I feel for you @Vince ...we're trying to sell my parent's house, had about 10 viewings in the last week, but I think it's an outing for some . The agents have a key so thankful we don't get involved....but by some of their comments you can tell they are time wasters and not really interested.

3 to view tomorrow confirmed, Carol is trying to squeeze in another 1 or 2 to fill in the gaps!

 

Land Registry finally pulled their finger out, we've exchanged contracts on the sale of our house, completion next Friday.

My purchase is going well, just need the funds from the sale but hopefully 4 weeks max before I'm the owner of a lovely property in Lincolnshire

House now sold, just my purchase to go........... along with installing a complete central heating system, insulating the house, repairing the outbuilding roof.

No gas so I'll explore the use of a Air Sourced Heat Pump and PV solar panels.

 

D-Day Friday this week!
I've been somewhat delayed by the local authority search taking longer than expected and my awkward bank being uncooperative with the funds transfer (I have to do it in £25k installments as a result).

So, it looks like another trip to Lincolnshire this coming Friday

Our first weekend in rural Lincolnshire this weekend, then back to the mayhem that is London!

 

Picked up the keys on Friday, spent 2 nights at the house which was lovely.

Additional costs were involved however! I wasn't expecting Carol to drag me off to a Farmer's Market in Sleaford! Lots of cheese, venison and wild boar later, my bank account took a hit.

Ooops, missed the home baked Steak n Kidney pie we bought which actually had chunks of meat in it!

 

Carol did take some pics whilst there, I shall get her to send them to me and post them.
