I read pretty much every craft page and it is facinating to see what members are doing. Patchwork quilts have a lifelong draw for me they seem to be ageless. I used to paint myself years ago (joke in there somewhere..couldent get it off?) and this is something I may return to after reading here.

The some of the last lot of resin pieces. The seascape board was a 70th birthday gift for someone.

Not a patch on what others has posted, but I've just finished this to take over to my brother's in a minute. He hasn't any decorations as he had always spent xmas over at our parent's ( and for safety reasons can't have too many hanging or taking up floor space). So I am gradually adding some 'different ' ones each time I go round, this one is a IMG_20201213_165921_hdr.jpg ......Friendly Snowball !!

My granddaughter Chloee is doing very well with making and selling resin items. She is a uni student doing her photography and fine arts Hons degree. Her setup is. CAVA Fine arts studio. Grandpa is so, so pleased with her.

@luciusmaximus Beautiful resin items, just love the board. Can you cut or put heat on them?

@Upsydaisy What a cutie! I have a reindeer with dangly legs that the cats stole off the tree years ago and they love flinging it around!

I was given a piece of furniture awhile ago that I thought I could restore/ upcycle. It's got a cupboard space with two doors and a large drawer space underneath. I'm not sure if it's solid wood or a composite with a wood veneer. No manufacturers mark on it anywhere. There was newspaper lining the inside dates 1986, although that doesn't necessarily indicate it was made then. Also, have several other pieces of furniture, two coffee tables( some kind of hard wood, I think ), a line tv cabinet and a metal plant or ornaments stand - don't know the proper name for it. It needs stripping of old paint and the repainting, which I can manage. The furniture I have no idea what to do with them :dunno::heehee::heehee:. Never done any furniture restoration before. They seemed like a good idea at the time :heehee:

Thank you Victoria :). All my resin stuff is made with food safe resin and heat resistant up to either 50 degrees or 90 degrees. I tend to use the 50 degrees on the boards as they are intended for cakes, cheeses, biscuits, etc. The fully coated boards are not suitable for cutting or chopping on but I do make half coated boards, so the original wood can be used for that. I'll take a pic of a half coated board to show what I mean.

Made this for a dear friend whose wife died last February of a brain tumour. He gave me all her yarn which I shared with other lasses whom I knit and crochet with. I saved the ice shades and made him a pompom tree that he can light up over Christmas to keep his late wife by his side,

At one time you could buy the inserts for cards, I will check the craft places I deal with online ,,pass on details if I find anything.

Though your cards are beautiful without the inner inserts :dbgrtmb:
