    I love to iron too but I draw the line at sheets. I'll do the top sheet for the guest bedrooms but no others.

    I've got that nice semi domestic boiler iron and then the big boiler iron system so it's like cheating as half the work is done by the iron :)

      I object to ironing a 6ft duvet cover, so if it behaves itself in the tumble dryer (rarely) I fold it neatly and let the weight of other linen in the cupboard do the rest. :)

          WE don't iron at all, we just fold it up and then hang it on the rail of the rayburn, dry's and iron's all in one

                      Not been a great few days. Mrs L, a teacher, finished term and the class rep / PTA turned up saying 'we didn't bother with a present this year, sure you understand'. Just her year group out of the whole school. [And while she appreciates it's not a right etc, it has become a custom of long standing and only her year were singled out] Personally I was fuming after she's been teaching their kids unprotected for months, over worked and unappreciated.
                      Then she gets the note from her TA... 'Oh I should have said, my hubby has covid so you need to isolate as I'm showing symptoms (since confirmed)'. That killed any christmas plans stone dead.
                      Then we get into tier 4 and EVERYONE's plans are torpedoed. Mrs L has been in tears.

                      Her 40th is new years eve and all plans for that are cancelled; shortly after our 5 year old's birthday treat and party were all cancelled too (how do you explain this to a child?!)' when is my party now daddy?'...
