I've joined the local community group on FB, what a lovely lot. Local knowledge is the best and I'm getting that in bucket loads.!

When you visit the house Vince it's also a good idea to pick up a local newspaper. I learnt a lot about my area through those.

The house has no central heating to speak of. I've received quotes for the installation of PV Solar panels, Air sourced heat pump and associated radiators and pipework, the cost is around £20k, pricey? Well maybe not, I'll get nearly £10.5k back from the government in RHI payments, I've saved about £6.5k not having to replace the sewage system so basically it'll only cost me £3.5k in the long run and I'll get money back for the surplus electricity I generate, I'm pretty happy with that.

Is the house well insulated Vince? Needs to be apparently for the air source pumps to work effectively

No Loofah but surprisingly retains heat well? Minimal cost to heat.

John, we fell in love with the place as soon as we saw it, our potential neighbours are great too, unlike the current one!
