Corona Virus Treatment

I will just leave this here...

 

I am not disagreeing with the fact that people spread the virus - the government are the ones responsible for the policies that people should be (and many are) following; for example, the announcement last night about folks who are shielding because they are clinically extremely vulnerable - - you will get a letter.... the last letter, sent on 20th December, arrived yesterday afternoon! What guidance is there for families of those shielding - were they even considered? (no is the answer you are looking for) - - I may as well head to the hospital and cuddle a few covid patients... but then no, as Mrs C can deliver it direct to my home. Her employer won't furlough her this time around, nor are her store limiting customer numbers so distancing is being left up to customers.

Why are airports and ports still open for anything other than freight? I have two colleagues who were (as of yesterday) still in France following Christmas - hardly essential travel, and they travelled out of a T4 area - yet we cannot go and see our family just over a mile away?

Restaurants/pubs are only allowed to do takeaway (gives them half a chance to survive), but takeaway alcohol is banned... why, if you are taking it away or having it delivered?

Parents who are still having to work (because many employers won't furlough simply because they are trying to stay afloat) are reliant on grandparents etc for childcare now.... a lot of whom are conveniently at home because they are shielding. But hey, let's send a little snot bomb into their house whilst the parents go out to work to bring the infection home to the kids.

No disagreeing that this thing is dangerous, no disagreeing that this new variant is even more dangerous, but the most dangerous of all is the reactions of our government, and absolute lack of joined up thinking. None of this is science either, just logic.

 

I don't think bats to be honest - very poor biosecurity at a lab working with and modifying viruses, however is much more likely, as is some sort of retaliatory measure for Trump's tariffs.

 

What about our homeless folks too? How much burden is being added to the NHS by not looking after them?

 

Don't forget the conspiracy theory about the vaccine containing a microchip that will control you.
