I only learnt to crochet January last year.

Haven't looked back. This is just a small group of things done.

My daughter, 29, does crochet. She’s made a variety of things from stuffed animals to blankets for friends babies. She crochets their name and date of birth into the blanket.

      The dinosaurs awesome :dbgrtmb:

Hope this is clearer. Seen a couple of books on watercolour flowers etc on Amazon that I'm tempted to buy.

I think I found watercolours a difficult medium to work with. Which is why I concentrated on pen and coloured pencils. I found I could blend them easily.
@Snorky85 those are looking excellent, you have more patience than me. :dbgrtmb:

Ah thank you. First few times I found it very difficult. I've got some watercolour pencils too. Only got cheapies from wilko but going to treat myself to a big box of good ones.
I found the one thing that has helped no end was getting decent watercolour paper.

Sorry to bore you with another painting. Today I've used gouache for the first time. Different type of paint. A bit like watercolour but higher opacity. Also tried a different style of painting-I'm not attempting to be at all "realistic" It's just all from my head. No idea what flower it is supposed to be.

That's pretty @Snorky85 . About a month ago one of my suppliers was selling off craft things and they were discontinuing "Dimension Acrylic" paint. Since Sam is very artistic, I bought one set for her and then because they were so cheap, I purchased a second for me to play with. Don't know if it will be a case of her using up hers, and then me, not having touched mine, handing them over to her.. I really should look up what I am supposed to try with this..
