I try to spend at least 30 minutes out there even on a very cold day. If I was able to move my arm enough I would then pat myself on the back :heehee: but I'll have to settle for this instead :pathd:

I brought two nice Plumbagos from the unheated 'conservatory' into the kitchen for watering, adding to the plants in there already. I now have to keep shifting plants around in order to get to the kettle to make a cuppa ! :heehee:

Thank you upsydaisy, I do have some plants in the garden and I'm lucky with them haven't had the lupin aphids on them. Where's the birds when you need them?

:rain: most of the day with a strong wind, so disinclined to venture forth. Except for feeding birds. Spent the day making ocean coasters and a trinket tray and painting the lounge. Afterwards, whilst reclining on the sofa with coffee and biscuits and watching the birds, I thought about plans for the new pond. Seem to spend quite a lot of time thinking about it and no time actually doing anything about it . I'm trying hard to resist the temptation to use another preformed pond, even though that is not what I really want.

Just had a short wander around the garden with Mr. W. and the moggies...looked at my so called new grass seed development knowing it's full of weeds..:catapult: if any body wants to start a swap or would like some for free just send me a:lolpt: telegraph. I thought right bulbs in there..got a spade and a carrier, dug up the bulbs, they are covered in a good portion of soil weeds and grass seed to keep them alive, hopefully, no worries, they are likely blind ones anyway.:catapult::)

Yes that's why I don't put seedlings out they get started off in the conservatory, once they've grown a lot and hardened off they're fine.:)
