All I will be doing today is clearing snow, and feeding the birds. I’ve already been stared at by one of the robins, who wants me to drink my coffee quicker, and get out there with the bucket of mixed food...
“C’m on, mate, I’ve already cleared the snow off the scattered seed, and put warm water in the birdbath! I needed to defrost my feet before the next trip outside!”.
Mr robin’s response: another hard stare!

We have quite a lot of these weeds ,they grow tall but cannot remember how tall.
Often they seem to like being next to another plants roots making it awkward to dig them out.....

Do they have yellow flowers and bristly seed heads? If so they might be Wood Avens/Herb Bennet.

Attention span has dropped off a cliff, they desperately need to be back in school with their friends and structured learning. They’re missing out on so much!

Not much doing in the garden yesterday with the weather as it is, apart from shaking snow off a large Fatsia japonica. So I sowed some seeds under glass - some Eryngium leavenworthii and Echinacea purpurea. And plopped a couple of Nasturtium seeds straight in the ground in my greenhouse, just for the hell of it.
                At least that's something done!

Freezing cold here, possibly snow around 4pm ish.
Might make a huge mug of Hot Chocolate and hobble to the greenhouse.
                    Only 'might'. ;)
