Which is ignoring an Admin request and could lead to being banned, Dianne. Please, with respect, do not continue to post in the same off topic vein again.

I’ve done the first full cut of the grass today. I say “cut”, and “grass”. A better description would be “vacuum” and “moss-and-weed” mix. But there were 5 or 6 grass-boxes full taken up, which is good, and it all looks a lot better now.
I also cut the dead growth off the lemon balm plants by the patio, and removed the dead stems of the yellow pear tomato plants, that were tied to the patio walls. I know - they should have come down earlier, but the blue-tits had been busy picking insects off them for months, and have only just moved on to other plants as their favourite feeding areas...

Why am I being brought into this? I would appreciate it if you explained yourself rather than making vague comments directed at me, Dianne. :frown:

After my previous post about :hotsun: and enjoying time planting up the primulas yesterday we had 60 mph winds and heavy rain non stop all day and night. Today wind dropped but still raining. Paddling about in the mud lake in back garden filling bird feeders was extent of gardening today. Weekend is supposed to be better.

Continue weeding, now the soil has dried out can look to finish off new well drained bed.

Moved some hedging that was heeled in and carried on developing the lawn. Digging out more earth and spreading around to deepen and level the area. Looking better but not ideal yet. When to start seeding?!

Today, in the front garden, I have committed a cardinal sin.

I installed a trellis panel of fake, plastic, Cherry Laurel look-a-like leaves - to fill in while the new Cherry Laurel hedge matures. I couldn't help it. I wanted an instant effect. Apologies everyone....
