    Hi all,
When chatting to someone over the gate last week (about gardening) he asked if I would like a cutting from his Spanish dragon plant. He said it gets a beautiful flower. This morning he has put this over the gate :rolleyespink: I have Googled the above and don't seem to be having much luck around what it is and what to do with it.
    Thanks in advance :dbgrtmb:

I'm not sure @pete what would you do with it? I'm thinking plant them up in a big pot?

Pot up in sandy compost , bury a couple of inches of the stem.
Should take two or three months to get a reasonable root system.

Thank you @pete :love30: when looking I think it may be a Yucca Gloriosa aka Spanish dagger. The chap who gave them to me has a really broad accent and I thought he said Spanish dragon

What I will say is Y. gloriosa has fairly stiff leaves with a spine on the end.
I suggested Y. filamentosa as the leves are not as stiff and no sharp spine.

I'd go more for gloriosa as there doesn't seem to be, well, filaments hanging off the leaves and yes, spanish dagger
