oops - should have said a 45deg and a 90deg bend to go round the corner at the bottom of the downpipe.

Having done a similar job myself, I wouldn't be too worried about where the runoff goes, so long as you're not on clay soil. The main issue is stopping all the drips falling 6ft and splashing back up. So long as the downpipe has a "shoe" on the end to direct the water away from the shed, it's unlikely to be a big deal except from the most severe rain.

Just about to fit Floplast mini guttering to my shed, and was going to reference the exact same two pages as Ricky ! Grahams point on a downpipe with shoe is important.
Youtube has a good how to video on gutter fitting.

        Hello @Graham B and @HarryS

Thanks for the information, much appreciated, I have looked on the Wickes website and checked off all the items I need, I think.

        Thanks

Another reason for a shoe at the base of the downpipe is that provides a fixing point for a bracket to prevent the whole downpipe sliding down and disconnecting from the gutter outlet, the alternative being securing the downpipe to the outlet with solvent cement costing around £5.

          Hello all

Well, I just went to the Wickes site to buy the pieces I need for the Shed Guttering and guess what, yes, they are out of stock of various pieces :wallbanging:

          So, B&Q it is.

All items have been ordered and should be here on Monday :)

I am in no way way a DIYer, give me Technology anytime, that I understand, this should be fun, or not, I will see how it goes.

Possible pictures to follow, maybe :)

          Thanks

          Kevin

Wickes do seem to be suffering a lot more product shortages compared to other places, could not get any of the paints we wanted the other day, ended up in Toolstation.

Surprised you had to order from B&Q, seems like they have loads of mini guttering in stock in store ?

            Hello @ricky101

You are correct, Wickes did have plenty of Stock in Store but it was unfortunately not available for delivery.

Because of my health there is no way I could get to the store, hence the need for home delivery.

            Thanks

            Kevin

                Hello @HarryS

Yes, I have watched a fair few videos, the theory is solid, it is the practical that may be an issue

                Thanks

                Kevin

                Hello all

                I hope you are well.

Well, I have finally managed to install the guttering on the shed, however I now have a new issue I had not anticipated.

There is more of a overhang on the roof of the shed that I had realised.

When the guttering is installed there is not much showing to catch the water runoff.

                Suggestions welcome.

                Thanks in advance

                Kevin

Wait until it rains, is the gutter catching the rain water? Rain tends to dribble of the roof not shoot off. If it is to far under the roof, you could fit little spacer blocks to move it out 20 or 30mm
                A photo would help.
