He seemed to be mostly chewing his foot after the first couple of seconds.

It could be that he's got in the habit doing it and it's difficult to stop it.

The foot chewing, if its excessive, can be soreness or itching between the pads, could be some kind of skin problem.

Did you say you got him from a breeder and he had been used for breeding in the past?

You know I've never hear of clx wipes, what will they think of next.

My personal thoughts on antibacterial products are that they are used far too much these days, but that's just me being old fashioned I suppose.:)

Rocco was bought. From a breeder and helped with 147 puppies in the past. Since we have had him people come up and ask what sort of dog. He is and that he is cute
With all the people saying this we. Wonder why no compention. These days you see quite small frenchie but rocco was breed by King
He is a 3 stone lapdog and we love him to bits.
The clx wipes are from the vets and keeps his folical infection around his whiskers down

Perhaps getting him chop might help.:yikes::smile:

Rocco was with a bitch when we saw him so not sure if the bitch was his mating partner or not but the bitch went with. Another member of the family.
We vets did say about having his bits chopped but schooling for dogs says he will be aggressive so we left him in tact.
He does like to act like a clown when he plays about and makes us laugh.
We have had offers in mating with rocco but with out contract..

Of course they dont, its almost cruel for them not to carry on, I think neutering is possibly the only way to help them settle down.
Where they get the idea it makes them vicious is a mystery, I'd follow the vets advice on the subject.

Forgive me if I've not read all your posts properly but has Rocco done this just since you have had him ?..
I'm asking because I had a furry lad with similar issues..could it be allergies of some kind it's worth a vet doing some tests.Even down to carpets and grass pollen can cause irritation and naturally if he rubs his bits on things it may make him ....let's say 'over enthusiastic' .I'm curious to find an answer as no doubt you are for the furry lads sake.

thanks for your reply rocco has only been rubbing his willy for about 4 months in the 2 yrs we have had him , we have taken him to the vets and the vet cannot see anything wrong including allergies , rocco does not do it all the time but he does rub his willy the vet thinks its down to behavior , we have seen alot of videos about on www but they call it without being rude masturbating , but others are saying this It's a trait of brachycephalic dogs. They are unable to clean themselves (find out more) which means the male Frenchies are unable to lick their own penis so have to rub it with their paws. Female Frenchies have a similar problem, being unable to lick their vulva for cleaning.

Probably down to breeding, short nose etc.
Bit like bulldogs that cant breathe and all kinds of things the breeder have bred into dogs that is unnatural
