Algae grows rapidly at this time of the year and it was probably on the plants.
The stuff you have there may control it but it won't work quickly and it won't be fool proof.
Think of the pond as part of your garden.
Is your garden totally weed free?
You have to live with some things and just control them as best you can.

Many thanks for your reply. OK I didn't expect it after what I went through with the old pond.
      Should I make improvements?
      Thanks

Water plus sunlight equals algae, its a fact, you could poison the water with an algaecide but you wont grow any plants in it if you do, and it wouldn't be wildlife friendly.

IMG_20210512_155823.jpg Hi I am trying to create a exit for my pond. I have looked at advice and tried to create but not sure if it's right. And I think the problem will be the down drop as its around 20 inch high some one said about a bridge but vision of a bridge don't think it would work thanks for your help and advice

The water level is 2 to 3 inch down from wooden boards and all so we felt if the water is to high then there would not be much of a water fall without raising the feature

That's what we are here for :). And, you did all the hard work of actually bringing all the help and advice together and building the pond, so give yourself credit for what you've achieved :)
