I have waited nearly nine months to post photos however did manage few back in april when one section was complete.

Received allotment March 1st 2008 and beleive me it was very bad as you will see from one photo with only a few scaffold boards put up they are all raised beds the plot is approx 75ft long x 22 wide and i had to remove lots of mares tail so i had to start from the front and remove tons of earth working my way back a section at a time i have removed 95% of the stuff. I made the beds different sizes some around 20ft x20ft and further ones 15ft x8ft

I have built two manure containers vermin free my mate has two race horses and i have approx 8 cwt weekly and the containers hold about 5-6 ton and as you will see from photo i have manure laying on top of some of the soil.

Had 15 ton of recycled compost from Swansea Council the compost is free if you fetch it yourself but i paid £60 to have delivered because its about 10 mile form Swansea to Port Talbot in West Glam and it would cost double that to bring it back with the cost on fuel a few months ago.

This compost is great stuff had great results during the summer with Potatoes Cabbage Carrots Onions Broad Beans Runner Beans Beetroot Lettuce and many more things had so much stuff had to give lots away.

Seen lots of your photos on your allotments keep at it because its very rewarding hard work at first but gets mero easy week by week cant wait until the spring i also have Blackcurrents Bushes and the wife made 12 pot of jam and it is better than you buy in the shops.

Merry xmas all happy new year.
