One month after germination and it looks like an established lawn from all the angles it gets viewed from. If you get right over it there are some areas that still need to thicken but I'm sure that will happen before next spring.

The pictures don't really do it justice, it does look fantastic irl, especially early morning when it's covered in dew.

It got a cut on Saturday and will be getting another one tonight. I've been leaving it a bit on the long side because of the mini heatwave we're expecting over the next few days. Unless the forecast changes I'm planning to set my mower lower (40mm) on Thursday night before it cools down and a bit of rain is expected.

It's now looking like the finished product. I would say it's the best lawn I've ever seen, certainly the best since I started really taking notice of lawns about 3 years ago.

I bought a new/old mower for when I can really start mowing it nice and short next year. I have other powered mowers for when I don't have the time, but this one should be great for when I'm in the mood.

Cheers mate. Must admit, yours does look pretty good too.

It really is a shame though how they never look as good in a photo as they do in real life.

Only problem I've got is that I can't imagine I will be able to keep the lawn as good as it is now, with it being fresh from seed and only a few weeks old. We'll see next year, for now, I'm just loving it every time I look at it. It really is a beautiful sight.

Made the most of the warm weather today and gave it a new year cut.
