I don't need to resize my pics they seem to be the right size. I use my phone to take pics and for being on this forum.

Being a bit of a dinosaur I still use a proper camera.
Most phones seem to automatically post a thumbnail quality photo.
        Perhaps worth a separate thread?

I mostly use a camera, never had to resize pictures for a while now I was under the impression the site resized pictures that were too big automatically.

If I use my phone it is, or can be simpler, if I want to take a photo of something which I have there at the time.
It avoids the process of having to find the picture you want in the memory of the device.

The forum software reduces the size automatically when you upload. For example the photo I posted of the Agave Americana was 8.5 Mb (megabytes), then when uploaded it shrank to 94 Kb (kilobytes). Maybe you mean Megabytes @Tomhip as a gigabyte sized photo would be very unusual.

There was a time when we had to resize prior to uploading but from my experience it's now done by our forum uploader.

                  That's interesting ...

I've never seen it before on these but all the Liriopes in my garden have it this year.

The aroma gives it away. 16313595621437351073515083509637.jpg
The Arundo donax has done well this year, must be about 14ft not.
Not bad for one summer's growth.
