I did cut back the Hollyhocks,..took four small cuttings,..these were young branches that had not produced buds or blooms,..these i will leave outside.

Hibiscus 'Woodbridge',..a very poor amount of blooms as compared to other years,..my intention is to return the plant to its original location,..nearer the house.

Good luck with the cuttings ...
I think the plant called 'Woodbridge' is actually a Hibiscus

I have a red Oleander and a double pink Mandevilla trying to root in water at the moment. I got the peach Oleanders to root that way now keeping fingers crossed they continue in potting compost. :fingers crossed:

I am sort of in the middle of you two and I mostly remember most things. :heehee: Who said that?

:roflol:,..just because i am older than you,..try not to treat me like a Father figure :),..so your memory is heading down memory lane as well and not coming back,..ditto here,..mine let me down yesterday with a big slice of Pizza 'Meat Feast',..put it in the Microwave Oven Grill as usual,..only realised i had it at the wrong setting when i was greeted by a cloud of smoke coming into the sittingroom,..its crazy,..seeing i take a snack like this twice a week,..brain went off with the fairies :wallbanging:

:imphrt: welcome to the Club Victoria :heehee: ,..i have a good memory for faces and images,..plant names,..people names and password numbers i forget,..this has started in the past few months :old:.
So you are giving the Red Orleander and the Pink Mandevilla a chance to root in water seeing your Peach Oleander rooted that way,..fingers crossed for you,..some plants rooted for me in water though mostly soft stemmed cuttings,..Delphiniums/Foxgloves/Phlox/Hebe/Chilean Lantern Tree ( a very young soft stem ) though i failed with as many others,..i mostly dip the cutting in Rooting Powder and have more good results there,..in particular with Roses.

Its a change to see 'Whisper' down to earth,..she travels along 5 rooftops with 120Cm =4ft gaps,..does this several times every day,..visiting two neighbours for snacks.

'Whisper' only allows me to lift her up despite two other households giving her snacks.

                            Voodoo Lily 'Sauromatum venosum',
Not everyone's choice of plant to have in the garden,..its hardy and produces a nice bloom,.. which only lasts a day or so but its for the foliage i keep it,..(or them at this stage),..it increases each year by its bulbs,..problem one is it smells like dead meat,..attracts flies,..the bulbs get bigger as do the foliage each year.
