    Aloha everyone,

@Upsydaisy I hope things pick up for you :grphg:

We've had wall to wall sunshine for days and I'm now finding it more difficult to do the digging/weeding. I need to get the sprinkler out of winter storage as everything is suffering now.

The Cobaea is loving it and we stopped counting the flowers when we reached 150 :rolleyespink:

    Take care

    Aloha!

              Aloha everyone,

@moyra thanks and Mrs S sends her love.

Although I have been doing a lot of digging my back etc. is doing OK. It's the hard ground that is causing the problem of digging difficulty.

We had a good day with our guests (cousins) yesterday and Sarafi enjoyed the company. The 88 year old lady was brought home yesterday by her son. She has been staying with her daughter in Norway for the last three weeks and with her son in Glasgow for the week before that. She flew in to Glasgow (the airline having staff accompany her through the airports) and her son brought her back down.

He goes home at lunchtime and we shall be taking her to the Indian restaurant this evening. She's one of the people that I do meals on wheels for. Her pug has been in kennels (a good doggy holiday resort :)) and has, apparently, lost a stone of the the excess fat he was carrying. :rolleyespink:

The sun is just coming out :blue thumb:

              Take care

              Aloha!

Good morning everyone, I hope your weekend is going well.

Not sure what will and will not get done today, hubs is continuing with the painting and I have some housework tasks to attend to before considering any garden related ones.
A bit misty out there at the moment but feels warm and muggy.

Have a peaceful day and keep safe.:spinning:

Good morning all, thankfully the sun has come out today so I may be able to get my washing out and also trim my shrubs back :dbgrtmb:

Shiney sounds like that lady has had a lovely time, she won’t want to go home :heehee:, I bet she’s missing her dog though.

                      Autumn has finally arrived!!

Good Morning everyone...and what a howler it is!!
The windows in the old part of our house were rattling non stop after I got up at 3:10am to shut them...thought they'd be blown off their hinges!!
Still roaring out there now ,the noise is terrific with all the trees being in full leaf still.

Should be an OK afternoon....to tidy up the havoc caused.

Keep safe and duck when a flying pot takes off!!

                        Aloha everyone,

We have had just a little rain and would like a little more. The wind is fairly strong but we don't have windows that can rattle so it is nice and peaceful indoors with just a little soft music in the background whilst I'm typing - Joan Baez and Paul Simon singing The Boxer at the moment. :blue thumb:

                        Keep safe

Rattling windows are great wouldn't channge them for the world, part and parcel of the character and history of our house . We didn't even replace them when we built the rest with double glazing, we fitted them with secondary glazing instead.

Well the week has started off on a negative note once again. Just had a phone call from Orthopaedics at my local hospital to say they still haven't heard anything about my scan ( sadly I was sent to a Hospital 30 miles away for my MRI Scan) so will not bother to make another appointment with me. It's a very long wait apparently so they will just take a chance and phone me whenever they get to hear , She asked when my Immunology app was and said Ok we won't phone you on that day.....beginning of Nov!!!!!:yikes:

Good morning all, Hospitals are in a right state at the moment. They passed my initial application for cataract removal from one hospital to another and now I have heard nothing more. I have given up and am now am trying herbal remedies for both cataracts and glaucoma.
Lets hope it works. I will still attend if I get a hospital appointment.
