Oh dear - the Poles want their own laws to trump EU laws - how rude. Polexit on the way:

The head of the European Commission has vowed a swift response to a ruling from Poland’s top court rejecting the supremacy of EU law, which has thrown relations between Brussels and Warsaw into a crisis.

It's not just Poland but also Hungary who say that their own law can supersede the EU law. Germany challenged the EU law on a minor point as well but that was resolved. Barnier has also put the cat among the pigeons by saying that France should be able to make its own laws on immigration.

Marek - you are welcome to join us...

Last month Mr Suski talked about fighting the "Brussels occupier" and Mr Terlecki said the UK had shown that "the dictatorship of the Brussels bureaucracy" could be defeated by leaving.

Looks like the member states are beginning to poke holes in the EU supremacy concept! I wonder if any will take the big step...

Which states? There are only two. Greece had the chance but didn´t want to take it.
Poland and Hungary have always been best buddies when it came saving each others hides against EU legal actions. Especially when those actions happen to be caused by either of them banning opposition, press or freedom of speech and sexual orientation.

But since both of those countries are dependant on EU money they are in a real bind. Can´t leave, but the longer they stay the more people are seeing the EU isn´t all bad.

Some legal issues, yes. But with 70% approval ratings in Germany noone, except a few far-right NeoNazis thinks about leaving the EU.

I know, and I didn't want to put any words into your mouth.
It was directed at the people who always see the EU breaking apart soon (TM). They just wait for any minor incident to prove their point that the end of the EU is nigh and almost all the member states are just waiting to jump ship as soon as possible.

Don't think anyone has suggested that nor is it at all likely. Some members might start the process for a referendum but as we've all seen it takes years to work through and is all consuming.

Same here Philip. T'other Half just paid £70 C&D on a £235 guitar plus £25 postage from NI to England then £25 from England to here. He desperately wanted the guitar to make up a set which put the value of the set up greatly.

He had the pink and black Hello Kitty ones but wanted the Penguin one ...

It has put paid to most of my on-line shopping but I have found various suppliers in Spain, France, Bulgaria, etc. UK loses out on my money.

@Victoria ,why was the guitar sent from N Ireland to England.
Could it not have been sent directly from N.I to Portugal.
