Just put a rain shelter over a cidp that very nearly died on me last year.
    Saved with TCP:roflol:

Thankyou, its a ritual I would like to be without, but I get so much enjoyment out of the plants surviving and responding to the treatment it drives me on every year.

Succulents in colanders get pushed deeper under the thick Rosemary shrub to be sheltered from the rain. Hardy perennials sown in bowls, cuttings and anything in small pots get gathered together in a sheltered corner to prevent them from flying around. Wind is worse than frost I think.

Apart from stocking up on red wine (great offers around this time, I pretend I'm hosting a large family Christmas dinner ;) ) that's about it.

Well, this year I'll have to keep an eye on my mini Angels Trumpets.

Oh yes, and Dahlias come up and go into the garage, leaving them in the ground delays flowering for about a month and means a serious slug battle when the new shoots appear.

I agree with that mostly, I managed to grow some small yellow plum tomatoes from a few seeds extracted from a squishy one, but it gave so many tomato plants that were taking valuable space. The ony edible I now like to grow is those climbing yellow and orange nasturtiums, but they have to be in the right place, not with delicate little flowers. I love the taste of both flowers and leaves of nasturtiums, they are uniquely tasty in salads.

Okay, I am concerned about my two peach (one single, one double) Oleander cuttings as they are tiny, maybe 15cm but with good root structure. So I made a little greenhouse for them.

I dont have any plants that need moving to protect them from the ravages of the local Winter, so normally, the only thing I do is put a mulch in place in the rose beds.

This year is a little different. In case they re-introduce restrictions, I've decided to keep myself occupied during the Winter months by making some garden related projects. That means a bit of preparation gathering material for them.
