I think the people who setup vaccination centres all have cars, near me we have 3 within 7 miles. all are on a bus route but all require you to change the bus at least once, but having to travel 25 miles is too much for some people especially elderly and disabled.

I see, it sounds very boring :heehee: but I hope he enjoys it ...

@Upsydaisy although my parents and Beryl were cremated their caskets were buried in old graves that had previous burials of coffins. I've seen memorial stones like your parents' in other cemeteries, I think they are a good idea and easy to keep tidy.

Good morning everyone, hope you're all well today.

Well I've got the Christmas tree up and decorated, now sweeping up never ending amounts of sparkly bits from every possible surface!!:fused:

Have a lovely and hopefully relaxing Sunday.

Im afraid I cannot seem to get into the Christmas spirit yet.........give it time I suppose, get the hospital appointments and commitments over first and then see how we go. Do take care everyone and have a lovely run up to Christmas and stay well and safe.

                Good morning everyone :candy:

I hope all goes well with all your appointments @moyra, I know its hard to direct your thoughts to other things when you have health concerns to deal with first. Get all the consultations done and then the Christmas spirit will sweep over you I'm sure.:grphg:.

Suppose to be going shopping in town but not to sure that I want to as we have a big blob of rain hovering very nearby. Decisions, decisions.

Have a good day doing wherever you decide to do.

                  Good afternoon

Brrr that picture looks cold @Upsydaisy  I hope the rain didn't stop you going shopping.

I had a man to service the gas fires and boiler, then another man to service the stairlift and put a new battery in it.
Made coffees for them and chatted, they were both very friendly and explained everything they were doing (as if I understood every word, so I pretended I did :heehee:)

I think they were afraid of Bella, they both said she was giving them that

                    Good morning !!:plugin:

Sorry Michael ,another cold looking one I'm afraid!!

Yes thanks we did the shopping in the pouring rain yesterday morning ...yuk:sad:.

Love it!:cat-kittyandsmiley: Bella didn't like her peace being disturbed.

Some indoor chores this morning then a friend is picking me up this afternoon for a coffee and catch up, hopefully I'll get to see her children after school too.:fingers crossed:

We have 7 cases of the new variant here in Hampshire....4 in town ( not our little local town, nearby city) We were planning on going in for a wander around and to hand deliver some Christmas cards, but not now ,I'll post them!! Until I get my booster I'm avoiding unnecessary environments.

Well that's my plans for the day, hope you have an enjoyable one too.

                    Keep safe.:spinning:

Oh no ...change of plan just had a chat with my friend..one of her little ones ( who was thought to have a cold) had got worse and they are waiting for a Covid test result!! Poor little chap...really hope he's OK. Worrying times as not only does Grandma live with them but my friend is a theatre nurse too.
Keeping everything crossed for them.:fingers crossed:

We have cases here too ,3 are linked to a junior school and 4 in another very nearby town.
In our own town Covid has risen considerably, it was even mention on the Southern BBC news. I really hope it's not going to be a case of ' here we go again'.

Im hoping not too, it’s strange how a week ago on the news they said there where three different people with the new variant and now there is 300 plus they didn’t stop the flights like they said they would do , it’s nothing like Australia and Newzealand sadly
