WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

A bright, clear cold morning here with a biting northerly wind. Don't think I will be doing anything outside today.

I hadn't noticed the 16% precipitation chance of rain at 11am on our forecast, it poured down on my line of laundry!

 

Sunny intervals and occasional very light showers.
A gentle breeze from the north west temp 8c feels like 6c

 

Sunny but not very warm

 

That's a bit better than cold.

 

Very grey with intermittent glimpses of the sun. Although looking threatening at times we had no more rain after the earlier downpour.

 

If only it was summer time.

 

Okay everyone, I'm going to have a moan! This thread is fast turning into one for national weather forecasters reports, which are very unreliable. Can we return to our personal reports please that will give us the correct weather for the area we live in. After all this is a forum and where we're supposed to have interaction with other members.

The occasional glimpse of sunshine today, but mostly cloudy with showers of light rain. 5C/41F

 

It was a nice bright day here in Notts, lovely clear blue sky apart from the odd wisp of cloud here and there. My SAD is finally starting to lift and I'll soon be out there doing some proper gardening (), it always seems to leave me when the sun starts to set after 5PM so I feel like I'm nearly there at this stage! The thing that is really surprising here lately is how rapidly the temperature seems to drop after sunset, we went from 8C this afternoon to what felt like half that in about an hour! I actually prefer the cooler weather which is why Winter and Spring are my favourite seasons, 5-15C is absolutely perfect for garden work IMO!

I’m with you on that one @Nikolaos , we had misty rain first thing this morning , then it cleared and the sun came out , 9c for rest of day. So nice that we were in the garden all afternoon, clearing and tidying.
I too prefer the cooler weather , l have this home grown theory that if one was born in the autumn/ winter then prefer cooler weather . I was born in December.

 

I can blow that one out the water.
