WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2022

A sharp frost and frozen ground.
Cloudy and light winds from the west temp 5c feels like 3c

 

-3c no sun but full on cloudy

 

A blanket of clouds has just rolled down from the NW.

 

Just got back from my morning hobble cold, frosty but the sun is trying it's best to put in an appearance . Currently 4C....not looking at the feel like temps, just don't want to know!

 

It is brilliant sunshine and now up to -24c . The rubbish and recycle got to the kerb in record time this morning!

 

I dont think anything in my garden would survive that.

 

My weather site says its a balmy -18c in Toronto.

 

It is a pleasant, sunny 16c with a light breeze.

 

I've just read my two readings from the outdoor remotes and they are saying we are up to -19c and according the the guessers we're going up to -13c. Here is a link to the station closest

Toronto is usually a bit warmer than most around it but are actually colder than the nearest official weather station to me. The station near me is down by the lake and west of me - about 25 kilometers away which is a lot closer than Toronto. The lake has a huge moderating effect. In the summer it can be several degrees cooler than at my house and the reverse in the winter.

Our high today is supposed to be -13c. Would your plants survive that milder temperature?

 

-13c some would survive, but only if it was a sharp overnight drop and above zero next day.

According to the site I was looking at, Toronto is not going to go into positive numbers until until about the 30th of the month and then only by a degree or two.

I notice your normal for this time of the year is -2c day and -11c night.

 

It's been grey and cold here all day, it isn't frosty though and the temperature is above freezing.
