    Hey Team ,, Hope you are all well ..

    A neighbour wants a very prickly climber or rambler rose as her garden backs on to a path and she want the xtra security but at the same time look pretty any suggestions would be useful

    I don't know about roses but how about Berberis julianae or darwinii? Both excellent for keeping people out.

      Lots of options to go with with other type of plants .

      Anybody who wants to climb through a Rosa Rugosa have my prayers :heehee: . I don't look into to many roses other than david austin they was one I wanted called Munstead wood but i don't think you can get it now big throns, I think Harlow Carr is lethal and gertrude jeklly defiantly is.

      Sorry forgot about the climber bit gertrude is a small climber
