My niegbor across the road had a senior moment awhile ago and reversed her automatic into her house.
Robert being like I am, videod the recovery.
There was a very satisfying crunch as she did it.

    Not 101 Celia next door...........

She is one of those ladies who really should not be driving as a hazard to herself and other road uses.

This reminds me of a story a chap in my office told a while back. He was at home and sitting in the front room when he noticed that their neighbour over the road had suddenly bought the same model car as them. Then he realised it was actually his own car parked in his neighbours drive. Turns out "his wife" had not put the handbrake on and it rolled off their drive, over the road and stopped when it hit the neighbour's house. :lollol:

Are you not supposed to open the door before entering your house?

Oh my! Bet that's made her insurance people blink! Would have made a great addition to Jasper Carrot's routine.

Of rolling cars, in Harlow Essex the shopping centre car park is very ingeniously built so parts of each level is on a steep gradient. Either people would get to their car and let go of their laden shopping trolley while they opened the boot or they wouldn't put their brakes on quite hard enough so when the car cooled down it would everso gradually start rolling, gathering speed until it was stopped by the car opposite!!

A runaway trolley once collided with my car while I was progressing though the car park looking for a space. When I got out and asked the woman for her details, she summarily waved me off, telling me "Oh don't worry about that - your insurance will cover it!" :el-f:
