    Been asked what this is. I just cannot bring it to mind. Flowering now and bought as a P terry's.jpg hiladelphus, but patently not.

      Reminds me of shrubby honeysuckle

          It does look like L. tatarica. Used to grow it which is why I thought I ought to know it. Ta muchly.

          So very sorry Sheal but the shape of the flowers are very different in Deutzia...see pics below.
          They have 5 petals all the same size all radiating evenly in a circle. Inside the stamens form a small crown.

          While the honeysuckle tatarica are spaced oddly..uneven..see 1st pic below
