:roflol: They're doing their best for me but their roots need to get in the ground. Plants in pots wilt so quickly sadly.

It is Friday the Thirteenth. I am not suspicious, but ... it was a Friday the Thirteenth when I was leaving to go the the ER for an X-ray on my knee and tripped up the step in the lounge and pushed the stem of my hip replacement through my femur ... so I went via Ambulance in sheer agony! And so began my serious knee/hip problems!!!

No workers today ... the wrong metal supports were delivered and are custom made so the builders have to wait till new ones are made/delivered ... maybe Monday/Tuesday. The builder is livid. Picture up later of status.

No plans for the day, just coasting.

      Happy Weekend3.jpeg

            Good day
Wow @Victoria that is a lot of work!

@Upsydaisy I planted out most of my seedlings yesterday. When I decide they're going out, they they go and Mother Nature cooperates with me. Well, so far... What's left is a small (30 or so) bunch of second sowings that are still too small to go out.

@Flumpy it got up to 80f 27c here yesterday but I only had to play in it, not work through it so I certainly didn't have to suffer at all. Next week we go back down to the "teens" celcius - 17to 19c being the highs.

I've just hauled the rubbish and recycle to the kerb so it was nice to have a good clean out.

And I'm going to spend the day trying to get the mess I made on the deck and in the greenhouses, gone.

            Cheers all :coffee:

I am always amazed at workers here. Two guys worked from 9,30am to 5,30pm with an hour's break for lunch and two short water breaks, probably five minutes. There were two ceilings (a faux pas first time in wood) so re-worked in plastic with insulation between the two, then a Tela Bitumen layer then the decking.

Well done Lori!! Yes mine are desperately needing to go out now too.....just have a lot of work to do to find spaces for them all or dig up some underperforming ones to replace with new.:dig:

I'm not concerned about the weather as they've all been well hardened off and are now prepared for all weather...it's only if we have strong winds whipping through our wind tunnel of a garden.

Bom Dia Heart.jpeg A pleasant day here not getting too warm.

The swap of the metal didn't happen yesterday, something about the truck not starting. So, we'll see if it arrives today. The builder can't schedule his workers' week with this all going on so it is frustrating for everyone.

                    Wishing everyone a good weekend.

Seems like the company the manufactures the metal doesn't work on weekends.

                                Good day
@Victoria over here we are so used to contractors missing timelines that any time they give a completion date, it is taken as a fairy tale.

The sun is out again and it is very mild. It is going up to 79f 26c. Again! :)

Unlike you @Upsydaisy I wait until the weekend to do my laundry as the time of use rates punish us for using appliances M-F during the day. So I have a mound of laundry for today and tomorrow. But the good part is that I have trays of pots which are refilled and ready to take downstairs so when I change loads, I won't go down there empty handed and I'll have them all shifted by the end of today's loads of laundry ;)

@Flumpy I hope you have a wonderful day with your Mother. :dbgrtmb:

And in between loads of laundry, I'm going to be outside playing. I've still got lots to tidy up and to me, anything done in the sun, is play

                                Cheers all :coffee:
