Solved What is this purple flowered plant called?

This appeared at the side of my bushes, looks quite pretty, but I haven't got a clue what it is?

 

Aquilegia.

I've got one that's come out that colour and an almost black onethe rest are pink up to now, i heard yellow is the rarest colour to see.

 

i love the thing, it seeds itself every year on my patch and comes up different colour each time - i leve it be; if it grows where it is it must like it there! so count yourself lucky you've been lnded with somet' that looks after itself.

 

I really like the plant. Perhaps I can harvest the seeds, I have a little place in the garden where they will look great

 

If you do collect the seeds, they germinate better if sown straight away.
