    With the predicted rain not arriving thought I’d better water the garden. Couldn’t help notice how the roses seem to be enjoying the present climate.

        I find that rain seems to spoil roses, often battering the petals. As long as the roots are kept watered roses seem to do well in a drought.

        Yeah, I think you’re right. I’m amazed they’ve survived the recent wind we’ve had.

        We have a couple in full bloom. The rest are just starting to bloom now. Shows the difference south to north.
