I saw this rabbit at my local Aldi. It was sold as a planter but I thought I might have a go at a bit of topiary. Today I bought a pack of 6 Baxus plug plants. The fit is perfect. Once the box starts to take I intend to transplant it into a more decorative crate shaped container.

After some careful planning on re-shaping my small pond I discovered that whilst I do have copious amounts of chicken wire, cutters and underlay, I don't have liner.

Thinking a bit further, I didn't fancy digging and fighting the liner down in the awkward corner so impulse bought a suitably sized preformed pond.

It's much shallower than my current one but should hopefully do the trick to have the sound of moving water plus the fun of watching birds splash about. :)

And if I don't like it, I can use it as an excuse to buy ferns.

I got this on auction from Germany yesterday. They are going to send it by DHL tomorrow so heaven know when I will get it as Couriers are bad news here if you don't have a street address!

My hubby made the trellis then I bought these tin hangers from our local garden centre for 1.99 each, they will look better once the plants have grown a bit more :spinning:

The best use of Sno foam is if you have the right mixture. To do it right you should calibrate the gun first off. I put a litre of water with a little food dye in the gun and fired it into a large bucket. You then measure the amount of water in the bucket and calculate the required dilution. Say the full bucket contains 11 litres then the ratio is 10:1. If the Sno foam recommends 4% then you add 400ml to the gun, top up with water to one litre and go from there.
Use the Sno foam on the dry car and after covering the car with foam leave to soak for a while before washing off.
What kind of pressure washer do you have?

Arrived today unfortunately with totally dry soil so wilted. I soaked it for a while then planted it in a nice terracotta pot. Will photograph when revived.

100 litre bag of perlite, it'll last me ages. A bag of this £20.99 or somewhere like wilko or b&q around £9 for 10 litre, crazy.
