YAWN, YAWN, WAKEY, WAKEY - 2022

Good Sunday morning everyone.

Looks to be a lovely day today so hopefully I'll get a bit more done than I've been able to do these past few days.

Hope your day is a pleasantly relaxing one.

 

It is a grey morning here but calm.

A quiet day is on the cards. I plan on doing a little tidy up of the plants on the front of house patio.

It’s grey here but dry, we are expected to have a shower or two today so just chilling and sorting washing out, I didn’t wake until 10.20am not like me!.

It is sunny and expected to stay that way all day.

I have the boiler started up because I want to finish one element of my wage earning work this morning while watching Corrie and Hilda my hair.

Then I need to vacuum up here before going out to play.

I’ve just been out to Halfords and treated my car to new matts, new air freshener and Autoglym tyre dressing as I’ve new tires, I will do them when the weather fares up

I'm in nostalgic mood this morning thinking back to this day many years ago with happy tears we!ling up...having gone through a long 35 hour labour and finally meeting our beautiful first born at 6:40 am.

The start of our wonderful journey, we 've been truly blessed with our brood.

While I travel down memory lane, you all have a lovely day.

 

It is a grey start to the day but I am sure it will turn out beautiful like yesterday.

T'other Half is going to the DIY today to get our money back on the a/c (they phoned yesterday and don't even have it in stock anyway ), buy the cladding before it sells out and perhaps buy a bench we like. I have nothing planned except my exercise routine.

We currently have an incredibly noisy road sweeping lorry going up and down outside.....nice to know that for once the council haven't forgotten us though .

They actually called to see if he had this license number yet. Our friend Andy who has done many jobs for us (toilet replacement, house painting, new path ... he is a Property Manager, has a guy (also an Andy) who is licensed and does work for the company. This new Andy phoned and he will not deal with Leroy Merlin either!!! He suggested getting the money back and he will install a similar model with all ancillary bits for 750 Euros total. Could even do it this week ... but we can't have it installed until the windows are fitted! Catch 22.

Still grey here and my head is not with me this morning. It is humid so I blame that but have done my cycling. By the way, I am up to 130 steps, in segments of 13, but not yet today, but did go 5 steps sideways.

 

Brilliant Vicky!!, You put me to shame as I haven't been on my bike for weeks...I try to justify it to myself that I'm too busy doing the garden ........ Well done

So sorry to hear you're not feeling on form today, you rest up now with either your crochet or a good old 'Who Done It' movie.

So all is on hold until the windows are done...very frustrating for you both.

Sunny here but I'm having a housework morning I will have the afternoon out in the garden. xx

It is another sunny day and 64f 16c which makes a pleasant way to start the day.

I shall be going to a few shops today and the diy. I need boards to make the headers for the roman shades I have fabricated plus a few groceries. The garden areas at these places will by now have their plants drastically marked down so I'm hoping to find some cheapie but worthwhile rescue plants while there
