Dry, cloudy and mild. 22c rising to 26c.

I had a vivid dream that it rained heavily and my garden sighed in relief. I was disappointed to wake up and find it wasn't true.

We walked the boys at 9.45am because it was warm we didn't have jackets and what do you know it rained and very heavy, got soaked. Try to shelter under some trees but couldn't find the right one. Now it's sunny intervals and a gentle breeze temp 22c. At least i won't have to do any watering.

Perhaps they should fix the water leaks around Thanet first.

Don't worry, it's bound to start raining soon, once they bring in restrictions it usually does.

Something is amiss here. It is blue skies and the Cicadas are singing ... but it is only 26c and they wake up at 30c.

Well even when it gets to 30c here Ive never heard them.
Probably similar to all those hummingbirds we keep hearing about.

Anyway the sun is back today and it's pushing 28c.
                    Still got the wind blowing.

What we really need is a minister for drought, that worked well in 76.
If I remember correctly a couple of days after he was appointed it didn't stop raining for 40 days and 40 nights.

Well, I have so many hummingbird-attracting plants, I should be wearing a bee keeper's outfit to protect myself from them.

Overcast with occasional drizzle and a stiff wind. Just on the verge of feeling cold outside.

A warm, verging on hot, day today! Been very cloudy most of the day with a few brief breaks between 12 & 1pm. Last night was also quite warm & tonight is forecast to be quite warm as well - in fact almost tropical! The temps are forecast to remain quite high with 20C at midnight! Only coming down very slowly to about 16C at 6am. We have had a very humid, sticky day with temps of 26C & just sitting here at the computer I'm perspiring! No rain, nor any forecast for the next 7 days either! Wind is lighter than yesterday.
