          You keep posting these beautiful pictures of our wonderful country in all its glory @wiseowl thanks so much. :dbgrtmb:

          Temperature is going down like a lead brick but still pleasant and not raining overnight or this morning whilst it's bright with some sunshine. The central heating's switched on but it's been rare to turn it off for so long; a couple of weeks of real summer; WOW lets have more.

          I'm late posting this morning because I felt a violin coming on. :biggrin:

              I'm in a different location today, Woburn. It is slightly cooler than the SE, 21c rising to 23c later. Looks like there has been rain here recently as the grass and verges still look green.

                    Many thanks @wiseowl yes I did say our wonderful country and I'm delighted we share it enjoying it to the full. looking at your delightful pictures where else would we ever want to live; it's even lovely whilst covered in snow. :dbgrtmb::yes:

                    I spent an hour and a half this morning just digging two 2' deep post holes in rock hard soil; I had to use a very heavy digging bar to break it up which tired me out; the posts are for a hand rail and once they are in I doubt they'll go anywhere. I put on my heavy site coat at first because it felt chilly until I warmed up.

                    The strong wind has dropped and it's a nice day; perfect for outdoor activities enjoying myself like digging holes. :biggrin:

                                I never stay inside during summer and I don't watch tv, except for a few catch up programmes about 11pm.
