Regarding hot tubs i get the feeling that they don't want to affect businesses in any way.
So if you stopped the filling of those it would put those companies out of work over night.

Well I assume you can adjust the temperature so sitting there with the water temperature lower than body temperature could be cooling.

              Hi,

20C at the moment a beautiful morning just right for a bit of work; shopping done and back home by 7:30 and I've just put the first top coat of paint on the new woodwork.

              Aug 2022_0001.JPG
Nice shade under the oak tree; perfect for painting.
              Aug 2022_0002.JPG
Completed just as the sun was being friendly.

Our Yorkshire summers are becoming more common; a lovely summer this year; a lovely summer in 1976 and a wonderful summer as a five year old in 1952; so much excitement in my life I feel giddy.:phew:

Can't hand around; work to be done.

              Kind regards, Colin.

We used to, and still do, up to a point, have two water companies, southern water deal with the waste and S.E. water supply the drinking water. So we used to get two bills but finally they have come to an agreement and we just get billed by S.E. and they pay Southern.

Yes well worked out! We came home this morning so no more swims. A few of my seedlings look crisped up apart from that, everything has survived. It's 30c rising to 34c.

Need to go to the allotment next to check.

T'other Half always says we have one day of rain in August. :fingers crossed::fingers crossed::fingers crossed: I can't see where it could be coming from ... but be positive woman!
