I have lots of plants that I might sell one day for charity.

My good lady ordered some Agapanthus, despite saying "We are buying no more for the garden".

I spent an hour & a half just watering all my plants with tomato fertilizer both inside & out on the balcony. Even the ones grown mainly for their foliage get the same treatment & it does them no harm - it's only at most once a week for the 3 summer months anyway.

I watered the tomatoes with the same feed even though it seems a waste of time (& perhaps fertilizer!) but as I'm now leaving any offshoots that appear to grow on instead of removing them at least they will get a boost & who knows if some of them might not give me a few toms before October puts them to an end.

          That sounds like me :heehee:

I got rid of some long brambles coming into my garden from the wilderness next door, before the rain got too bad.

After noticing new growth on a Alchemist rose that I moved a month ago I pruned Wallerton Old Hall low and moved it this morning. Maybe a bit reckless but after being In a dry spot it may enjoy the move. Plenty of water and rain promised tomorrow , fingers crossed:psnp:

Did daily checking on and watering of seedlings/plantlets. Organised pollarding of the Jacaranda and Almond for late September/early October.

Topping up the birdfeeders was the extent of my outside work.

I had a delivery of some bricks to raise my cold frames higher, so that I don't have to bend down too much.
They look like concrete blocks but are much lighter and easy to carry - I can carry two at a time with no trouble at all (except when I waved to someone in a passing car and dropped one on my foot, grazing my leg as it went down :heehee:)
I understand they are insulation blocks to use for the inside skin of cavity walls, and the builder doing my small kitchen extension used them for the new wall he's built here. That's how I got to know about them.

I also tidied my Fuchsias and did some weeding.

I think you need a track record of doing so :dunno:. Sell a couple of plants to your neighbour and then he could sell them back to you. :ideaIPB:

Of course, the proceeds will have to go to charity.

Between what we sell and what the charity garden centre sell our plants for has raised over £5,000 this year.
