Packets of wildflower seeds

    It's rather late in the season now but you can try sowing perhaps 1/2 the packet in late September - early October. Then the other 1/2 packet in March/April. That way you will hedge your bets so if the first sowing doesn't turn out very well you will have a 2nd opportunity in the spring.

    It may well depend on what sort of wild flower seeds you have, if the majority are annuals it is far too late in the year to sow them but if there are bi-annuals or perennials amongst them then they could be sown now as many wild flowers bloom in the spring & the seeds fall into the soil in the summer. Some germinate right away whereas others may wait till cooler temps before sprouting.
