Yes - but it was only happening yesterday @pete , and wasn't a problem at all before that.
I'll just use Firefox for the time being.
I was going to add a signature, so at least I can probably do that now!

I'm the same as you, @fairygirl
It is a bind, and sooner or later I'm going to muddle my password.

I didn't tick the box to "stay logged in", because I assumed that would leave me logged in, even when my phone is off. I just wanted to be logged in automatically, if I returned to the site half an hour later.

The other problem I mentioned @RowlandsCastle -re the remembering password option, was another reason I was logging out - it was just so that I could get used to the new password I was using here. In Chrome it wasn't giving me the option for 'remember password' , which I do get with Firefox. I suppose I could just have gone back to one of my usual passwords though!

It might be worth you looking at a different browser too. It's certainly worked for me :)

I never logged out on the other forum, it was purely for familiarising myself with the new password here. Just making life more difficult for myself probably!

I never log out either. Don't see the point of doing so. In case I forget log in passwords for non-critical sites I keep a small password book. Important passwords and login details are coded - which is OK as long as I remember how I devised the code :heehee:

I do that too @shiney - with a notebook, and coded.
            Old school ;)

I've got a little book, but recently when for any reason having to change a password I let Google come up with one, they are good at making really crazy ones, which Google then remembers and puts in for you when you need to log in.
all you need to remember is your Google pin number.

Of course I dont use that on any sites where money is involved.

I don't stay logged in on any sites. No particular reason but it does help to remember my passwords of those I use every day. Others are listed in a notepad.

I have a 'base' password, which I then adapt, and the variations get put in the notebook. Sometimes I use a name, place or film etc, and if I write 'with numbers' or 'with symbol' I know what that means.
It also depends on the site itself - they might want a capital and a number, so I just adapt for that.
I like them being partly written down rather than relying totally on my memory. I forget my own name sometimes....:heehee:

I get logged out as soon as I close the browser on my iPad with latest iOS, but it works fine on my iPhone with older iOS. Also the password manager of Firefox no longer works. That issue started around 3 weeks ago
I suppose Apple has released a buggy update forcing people to store their passwords in iCloud, because this pops up when I click on "Password”.

FYI: Apple has released an update and there seem to be a new option in the Settings - Passwords that allows apps to use the Password manager of the system. I can’t remember if that option was there before but I would say it wasn’t when I checked it 3 weeks ago.
After enabling Firefox, I get the password automatically entered.
