Yup...lets hold back and reorganise a bit, I have a new foxglove seed to de-rubbish and seed from a few delphiniums to sort for the list and anything else I can find in the garden..including a verbascum.

Also worth noting here is that my local wilkinsons are selling off this years stock of seeds at 75% off their list price, considering they are all in date by a few years its bargain time that could benefit the list here if all payed wilkies a visit. I was like a kid in a candy store the other day and spent around £14 on seeds, but by doing so I saved around £48 and have oodles of seeds now for future use, all are dated 2010/11/12

A combination of new (pre-packaged) in-date seeds and dated self collected samples from the listers would make a strong start to a new package.

So if we are to have a break we could send seed into one source in readiness for another round of the seed parcel.

    Steve...:)

Oh dear. I definately didn't use grey tape to seal it.. it sounds like something must have happened in transit.

It was alot smaller this time round and there wasn't alot new. I also think a break would be a good move.

I will go with the flow,

Kelly i would wait to drop out and find out first how much its costing to post once its moving :gnthb:
just an idea when we post up to say we have sent parcel on ,say how much postage has cost , then if it is too expensive for anyone they can tell whoever is previous to miss them out .and we can keep an eye on costs that way aswell,

sorry to hear that kelly but consider what Pam said about finding out how much it's going to cost first, will keep you on there for now but make a note to check with you before it gets posted to you.

I'm in for that too, fresh seeds for the new season :)

Yes, Steve sounds a good idea.

I agree with Pamsdish. Great idea to say when posted and how much postage is.
I was actually thinking of pulling out for the same reason LMRR but maybe we should stay in there and see what happens.

1- maximum hold time before passing on parcel, unless previously arranged is 3 days (ties in with No3)
2- message person after you on the list before sending parcel and to the thread so we're all kept in the loop
3- if no response to a message, move on the next person, after 3 days (Works with No1)
4- contact details held by Jo for everyone, as an emergency( I already have a few.... name, email, address and a phone if you wish) but it's not compulsery
5- if you miss your turn, then you miss your turn, you wait til it comes round again.
6- New joiners go to the back of the queue , i.e behind the person who currently has it ( which will mean keeping the thread up to date on who has is, keep it public, if you have it you post)
7- Just keep us all informed, maybe a role call either on the thread or by me PMing, maybe with 2 chances to reply then your name is in red and after round of the parcel your off the list till you get in touch then No6 comes into force.
