      Well Sunday on our steam train ride into the Bush it was so hot all day near 33C . Wildlife everywhere we go yesterday a friendly ‘Splendid blue-tailed wren crossed our path on searching for ‘The Giants sculptures’ only took a video sorry . Sure I will be posting a few more pics before home-time 31st March !. Yes at least you’ve got a move on in your garden @AuntyRach you couldn’t pop up my house and do your magic .

        Best by one so far today we took a ferry over to Penguin Island from Safety Bay alas all the Little penguins were all out at sea finding their dinner back later but look at this crèche of Pelicans just 100m away a sight to behold !I wish I had a more up to date I-Phone folks IMG_6391.jpeg IMG_6392.jpeg

            @Valleysgirl We have been to Rottnest Island but not Penguin as unfortunately we only had two days in Perth.

                  We’ve visited Rottnest Island on a visit here in 2023 said to be the happiest animal in the world a Quokka ! Found this pic for you @strongylodon I IMG_2400.jpeg took I had it enlarged and framed it’s on a wall back home in Wales .

                        Lovely to see a hedgehog in our garden for the last few nights. I normally have a feeding station set up with kitten food but I thought they'd still be hibernating. I'll have to buy some food I think :biggrin:

                          My daughter lives in Norfolk UK in a barn conversion, they have a large pond on their land and every morning a lone swan appears, she has bought swan food and feeds it, it then flies off, thought swans were always in groups or pairs, he looks very well and nothing wrong with him, just seems lonely
