Shadow or mural ?

Neither it's a tree and a white wall somewhere.

 

I was beginning to think it was shadow, but a closer look suggests it's a mural as the branches on the wall aren't the same as on the tree.

 

I think it’s a shadow, the position of the sun will distort the image slightly. I can’t imagine why anyone in Bents Avenue would want a mural like that .

 

Would need to know the way the wall was facing, location in the world and the time of day, then the sun position could be determined and the implied question answered with certainty.

 

Surely Muriel cant paint on the sky.
The tree is on the blue bit as well.
If you looked from a different direction, and it was just a painting, it would look totally wrong.

 

Looking from a different position you wouldn't see it as it would be side on.

 

It's a shadow, there's nothing on the wall, I've found it on Google maps ...

 

It's definitely not a "Banksy"

Edit: But could the picture for Google have been taken before a possible mural was painted?

 

It's definitely a tree, I have found it on Google maps as well. It's also an old picture as the tree is bigger now and the wall less white.
