Spanish Bluebell - Should I dig it out?

Last autumn, I planted several dozen English Bluebells in my little woodland. They are pushing flower buds up now and I expect them to flower in the next few weeks. However today, at the front of the woodland, I've spotted a single Spanish Bluebell.

I'm sure I read somewhere that these can cause cross pollination, polluting the English Bluebells with hybrids. My gut feeling is that I should dig out the Spanish one. Am I correct that it should go?

 

You are very correct then can and do hybridisation.

The Spanish one is flowering now. The English Bluebells have their buds on stems of about 2 inches at present. Being in the North East, I expect them to be a few weeks later than I've seen down south.
