I never bother to log out of GC. Just have 'keep me logged in' ticked so when I go to GC I'm straight in. :noidea:

@Sheal, what you could do is log into GC and tick the box in the morning. Then later in the day, when you have finished here, log out. I have always done that on some forums, though not here. It has the added advantage it helps keep passwords fresh in your mind.

I sometimes get logged out of this site and only realise if I want to post etc. I put it down to poor Internet connection. This can happen on WIFI and 4g. I am using smart phone with Firefox and it will switch from WIFI to mobile data if connection is poor. This causes it to log out for me. I expect it would be the same if using WIFI alone and the connection was poor temporarily.

I always log out of GC and therefore accept cookies on logging back on.

I don't visit GC in the mornings @ViewAhead and rarely afternoons. Forum passwords are not a problem to remember but I have a 'diary' for other sites, like shopping.

It's interesting to read different issues from members here. I always log out but don't need to accept cookies when logging back in.

I usually reject cookies if the "button" is offered without having to go into "manage your preferences". I always accept on GC as I am too lazy to click a few more buttons. But what difference would it make? I'll try it out next time.

Surely if you don't accept cookies and you log out when you come back it will almost like you have not been on the site before.

Nothing to report at the moment folks. Would you believe I've not been logged out since my last post on this thread.

I'm waiting for a bad bout before I tick the 'stay logged in' box to try out what has been suggested by your good selves. :)
