I grow half a dozen tomato plants in a small greenhouse. This year I am growing Gardeners Delight and Honeycomb, purchased as plugs. I have been assiduously removing the side shoots as soon as they appear but stupidly and clumsily snapped the growing top off one of the GD plants.
Can it be rescued or am I better removing it now and trying something else in its place?
    Thanks.

I have done the same before so don't worry :). I just let one of the top side shoots grow and take over as the new main stem. If you have already removed them all another will grow in a space you have already removed one. Hope this makes sense.

...and you could also grow a replacement by rooting a sideshoot...
