I moved three more that are developing nicely onto the step (left) of the Raised Patio as it is a suntrap ...

I love these ... I love the stems better than the flowers, I think they're fantastic (I know I'm odd !)

I love it all and like I have some with a fat caudex and some octopus like. I am anxious to see what other colours I might get. These are the babies I am nuturing on the lower level and two are supposed to be muti-petal black ...

i've just moved my one outside, while the weather is warm, it too heavy to keep moving in and out so I hope it can stay there for a month or so.
The caudex is getting fairly big now. DSC06740.JPG DSC06742.JPG DSC06743.JPG

It looks superb Pete. Can you not squeeze it into a corner of the conservatory, or greenhouse? Where has it been living the last couple of years? Mine all go into The Baffa on the South and West facing windowsills to let them denude for the winter.

I started collecting them as they are easy to care for and I have the "hot spot" there to contain them. I have to stop now as I have 23, more than half have to bloom yet with nice colours. Same with the Hibiscus rosa-sinenses.

It spends most of the year in the conservatory I doubt it would survive the greenhouse over winter.
I just thought an airing while we have some heat might help it, I do know the flowers get a better colour when outside in full sun.
