I've got this Erysimum, a plant which I've never grown before. The flowering spikes are finishing so if I cut them off will that encourage new ones, or is it a plant that flowers just once every season?

Definitely cut them back to a node where there may well be flower buds forming already.

In my experience they will flower right through to December and beyond!
