Whats Your Weather Like 2025

My garden is far from being soaked. The rain we had for the last days hasn’t changed anything 3 cm below the surface. Still bone dry. It needs a lot more rain for trees and plants to recover from this drought.

 

This is the UK, when in living memory has it not rained, we get a few months of dry weather and everyone seems to go into panic mode, it always rains for most of the winter when the vegetation is not taking it out the ground.
The balance has always been reset, I'm almost sure our next climate change issue will be floods.

 

Heavy rain showers all morning and still will be all day with a gentle breeze from the south west temp 15c feels like 15c

It is 60f 15c and we've had nice downpours for the last few hours. The gardens are enjoying the drink and I hope it is encouraging the grass seed to think about sprouting sooner rather than later. The guessers say it will continue raining for the morning and clear up a bit this afternoon. Lovely free water!

 

Just missed a mini hurricane on the drive back from Dover about 9.30 am . The road was freshly peppered with branches which slowed down the traffic, Had driven through torrential rain 5 minutes before...

No rain here, sunny and calm. 19C/66F

 

Our high was 30c at 4 o'clock. Sunny/cloudy all afternoon. Had visitors from Surrey for the afternoon. Very peasant. Nice. Noe 25c and breezy, feeling fresh.

 

Clear sky and light winds from the west temp 15c feels like 15c

 

Been an ok kind off day, breezy and warm enough at 18 degrees, no rain, though up the coast at Stonehaven they had flash flooding from a sudden downpour. I got my big Beech hedge trimmed, looks a lot neater now.

 

Very heavy showers on and off all day, but these died out this evening and out came a large moon.

Better all round tomorrow with sunny intervals and temps of 19c.
