It’s a shame a few can spoil it for the majority of people who for the first time can fly a cheap drone, unlike with the cost or experience needed to fly those petrol aeroplanes or helicopters of old

We’re luck, our neighbours in our cut-de-sac are OK with this, I don’t know about the others behind us

Here’s a couple of clips of our front tree taken not long after buying the drone

The engine noise is more than I expected but part from that I’m pleased with the results, in YouTube it’s 1080, but the drone captures the footage in 4K

In case there is one, who isn't sure, the helicopter sound effects were added by me, the camera on the drone has no mic

It was a beautiful day to fly the drone, bright sun, puffy clouds, no wind. The foliage is near peak and I thought I would get an image before the wind takes the leaves away. We had a long drought this summer and our reservoir is about as low as I have ever seen it. This is Tomnannock Reservoir in Pittstown, NY. It serves a number of local communities, and our water is rated among the best in New York. The way I feel about drones is, that I am licensed, the drone is registered with the FAA, I obey all the regulations and use the drone to supplement my income as a photographer, so if someone has an issue with drones, it is their problem, not mine.
