    The man carrying his comrade in this tape,a famous clip from WW1,...3 minutes and 24 seconds in...was awarded the Military Cross.His name is 'Tommy'Taylor .
    This morning I meet his son. He is a very fit 84 year old and is living in my sister in law's care home. It was many years before the War Office revealed that it was actually 'Tommy' in the film to his family who had been battling with them to do so.

    How many times have you seen this image in films and on the TV and wondered...

    That's amazing - these things shouldn't be forgotten.

    In this age of technology we forget that wars have been fought in those conditions.

    Heroes that should never be forgotten and `Tommy`s ` son and the rest of his family should be very proud of him, a selfless gesture in very harsh conditions.
