bt favourites question

can anyone tell me were my favourites are on my bt homepage as i just cannot find it anywere

 

Are you using Internet Explorer to get to your home page Rosa. In which case go to the top heading View, then Explorer, then check Favourites.

 

hi fran, no i,m just using bts homepage, sorry i forgot to put that, I cant see favourites anywere.
All their is at the top is
file, edit, view, bookmarks, sidebar, tabs, sign in, tools, help

 

Rosa Your BOOKMARKS are your favourites ..

Do you Use Firefox or Opera as your Browser ? I know BT is your Homepage but they are your Internet Service Provider, and it's normal for the Home Page to be the same, although you can change it to what you want ..... M-L

 

oh thanks mona lisa, have put gc and others in there, will try it again.
no i dont use firefox or opera as i am quite happy just using the bt home page for everything.

 

Hi Rosa, glad you've found them ..It could be that BT have their own Browser ...I'm out of touch with the workings of BT ....out of interest when you look at the very top left hand corner of your screen is there an Icon showing, and if so what does it say or look like ? M-L

 

mona, I,ve just noticed in dark blue there is a world icon and it says gardeners corner :bt favourites question, then under that the normal file, edit view etc. why is that at the top do you think

 

I shouldn't worry Rosa, I would think the globe is to show you are on the World Wide Net ....GC is the site you are on, I'm nor sure about the bt favourites question bit at all .... I would think that it possibly means you have accessed GC by going through favourites ..... the "question" bit I have no idea ?? !! IF you are able to access your favourites without problems I would just continue as you are. M-L

 

have noticed at the top everytime i change pages the bar at the top also changes to tell me were i am now its gc bt favourites question and when i leave her it changes again to let me know were i am, weird never noticed that before, as i normally look at the bottom of the screen that shows me what i have connected to or logged into such as bt yahoo mail, gc and photo-bucket

 

mona thanks again for clearing that up for me were my favourites are as tiscali homepage came up saying favourites and i know aol has a heart to show their favourites, mind i would rather have had a heart sign :D :D

 

Hi Rosa Just to make you feel better ....I use IE7 as my browser, Wanadoo/Orange France IS my ISP...and at the top left corner of my page there is the IE Icon, then its Gardeners Corner, Post a Reply, Wanadoo .....so it's just showing us where we are :D :D and I've just realised why it says "bt favourites question" ...it's because that it the title of your original post ... I must have relaxed too much on our recent trip.... :D glad you are sorted ....M-L
