whats this ?

I think this litle thing looks like an antibiotic capsule..and i am sure its what keeps biting me..so if anyone knows what it is please tell me..thanks..

 

Doubt if it bites, Wildflower. It's a beetle and probably a Cardinal Beetle. They sip nectar from carrot type flowers and their larva live under loose bark and eat insects.

 

Thanks hornbeam will have to keep searching for what is biting me..if its not this..
